The Wood Destroying Insect Report, or "Termite Report", it is an inspection for termites, carpenter ants and other wood destroying insects. These inspections are often done at the same time as the home inspection.
Your lender sometimes requires one, so it is convenient for you to have it done during your home inspection. Termites are everywhere and most houses have termites sooner or later, you may wish to have the Termite inspection for your own piece of mind. You can always have a Termite inspection after you own the property.
