Officially called the Wood Destroying Insect Report, it is an additional inspection for termites, carpenter ants and other wood destroying insects.
Your lender may require one. If not required, because termites are everywhere and most houses have termites sooner or later, you may wish to have the inspection for your own piece of mind.
Your Wood Destroying Insect ("WDI") inspection occurs during the house inspection. I have worked with Harvey Costilla and Oscar for 21 years. Their company, ProTech Exterminating Company, is licensed and qualified to perform this inspection as well as any of your pest control needs.
I can collect this fee along with the house inspection fee as a convenience to you.
